5 rules of taking a good cover image.
1) No cluttered backgrounds
2) Make sure you focus on lead singer if it is a band shot so the audience know who they are. If a single audience make sure its a medium shot- close up
3) Leave room for a masthead and dont cut off heads
4) No high angle shots
5) Animate your band- make sure they look at the camera

Target Audience
I want my magazine to target a mainstream audience. Also my magazine would target an age group of 16-35 and would target male audience.

My sub genre is going to be indie/rock

IRM- (Indie Rock Music)
I MAG- (indie magazine)
Rock n roll

Ideas for main cover image
Have a close up/medium shot of a lead singer of a band on front cover. Have a bright coloured background. Title in big, bright capital letters

Ideas for main splash article
Have a picture of a band on one page and on opposite page have a interview with them and ask them questions

Ideas for other possible contents
Contents title relates to front cover title, bright, big and in capital letters.
Have a picture of a band and have in a gold star next to it interview with the band.
Have a bright coloured background
Also have specials for example top ten rated songs from a band (in gold text)e.g. oasis
